What ASHTE is
ASHTE provides educational content, research tools, a database of publicly sourced property and lien information, and deal-tracking software about buying, optioning and collecting judgment liens and other liens on distressed real estate.

ASHTE is not a law firm, a licensed real estate broker, a debt collector or a financial adviser, and nothing on this platform is legal, tax or financial advice. Answers from our team are general education. Laws on judgment assignments, recording, foreclosure sales, surplus funds, debt buying and collection, and foreclosure-rescue or equity-purchaser transactions differ by state and change over time. Consult a licensed attorney in the property's state before you sign or record anything.
No guaranteed results
We do not promise any income, payout, timeline or result. Sales can be cancelled, postponed, redeemed or bid in by the lender, liens ahead of yours can consume the proceeds, and courts can rule differently than expected. Example figures on this site are illustrations, not typical results.
Your responsibilities
- Verify every property, lien and record yourself against the county or court record before acting. Research data can contain errors or be out of date.
- Deal honestly with creditors and state your terms plainly in writing.
- Do not contact homeowners or debtors about their debts, and do not offer to buy a homeowner's equity or stop a foreclosure, unless you are properly licensed and compliant with your state's laws.
- Follow all federal, state and local laws, including licensing rules that may apply to buying or collecting debts in your state.
- Do not share your account or copy, resell or publish course content or property data.
Payments, renewals and cancellation
Payments are processed by PayPal. The Step Program is a one-time purchase that gives you continued access to its lessons while the platform operates. Search and Full Access are monthly subscriptions that renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel any time from your Account page; access continues through the end of the period already paid. Refund requests can be sent to the support email below and are handled case by case.
